TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Isopino Energy Technology – Namibia

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales, deliveries, warranties, and use of products manufactured or supplied by Isopino Energy Technology (“Isopino”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing or using our products, the purchaser (“Customer”, “you”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. Product Description

1.1 Isopino manufactures and supplies solar energy equipment in Namibia, including solar inverters with integrated lithium or gel batteries (“Products”).
1.2 All inverters are engineered with internal fire-containment features intended to minimize the spread of internal faults.

2. Manufacturing Quality

2.1 All Products undergo testing and quality assurance prior to dispatch.
2.2 Products leave our facility in confirmed working condition unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Transport, Handling, and Storage Requirements

3.1 General Transport Responsibilities
(a) Products must be transported upright and securely fastened to prevent movement, impact, or shock.
(b) Products containing lithium or gel batteries must not be exposed to extreme temperature conditions (below 0°C or above 40°C).
(c) Customers must ensure that transport personnel are aware that the Products contain sensitive battery components.

3.2 Handling Requirements
(a) Products must not be dropped, shaken, rolled, dragged, kicked, or subjected to any form of physical shock.
(b) Units must be lifted using appropriate support points and not by cables, terminals, or battery housing.
(c) Do not open, disassemble, or tamper with the casing or battery compartment. Any such action voids the warranty.
(d) Avoid stacking other items on top of the Product during transport or storage.

3.3 Storage Requirements
(a) Store the Product in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and water exposure.
(b) Do not store near flammable materials or corrosive substances.
(c) Lithium units must be stored at a partial charge (30–60%) if kept for extended periods.

3.4 Inspection After Delivery
(a) The Customer must inspect the Product immediately upon receipt.
(b) Any visible damage, dents, cracks, wiring displacement, or loose internal components must be reported to Isopino within 72 hours.
(c) Failure to report within the stated period will be considered acceptance of the Product as delivered.

3.5 Customer Liability for Mishandling
Any damage caused by non-compliance with the above handling and transport requirements shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer and is not covered under warranty.

4. Warranty

4.1 Warranty Duration
All Products include a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.

4.2 Warranty Covers
(a) Manufacturing defects
(b) Internal component failure under normal usage
(c) Battery failure under normal charging conditions

4.3 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
(a) Physical damage caused during transport, offloading, incorrect storage, or mishandling
(b) Dropping, vibration, crushing, or impact
(c) Damage caused by improper installation or wiring
(d) Damage caused by unauthorized repair, opening, or modification
(e) Overloading, short circuits, incorrect polarity, or use with incompatible solar or electrical components
(f) Water damage, corrosion, or exposure to moisture
(g) Fire caused by external factors
(h) Battery swelling due to misuse, overcharging, or overheating

4.4 Warranty Claim Requirements
(a) Proof of purchase
(b) Product serial number
(c) Access for inspection by an authorized Isopino technician
(d) Evidence of compliance with the handling and transport requirements

5. Replacement-Only Policy

5.1 Isopino does not offer refunds under any circumstances.
5.2 Valid warranty claims will be resolved by repair or replacement, at Isopino’s discretion.
5.3 Replacement units may be new or refurbished.
5.4 If damage is found to be caused by transport, mishandling, or customer negligence, the Customer bears full cost of repair or replacement.

6. Installation Requirements

6.1 Installation must be carried out only by a certified and qualified technician.
6.2 Incorrect installation immediately voids the warranty.
6.3 The Customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with Namibian electrical safety regulations and obtaining required certificates where applicable.

7. Safety Disclaimer

7.1 While the Product is designed with internal fire-containment features, no electrical or battery-powered device is completely fire-proof.
7.2 Customers must follow all operational and maintenance instructions, including:
(a) Adequate ventilation
(b) Avoiding overload
(c) Routine inspection
(d) Correct placement away from moisture and heat sources

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Isopino shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of income, business operations, data, or profits.
8.2 The maximum liability of Isopino, whether in contract or tort, is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the Product.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:
(a) Follow transport and handling requirements strictly
(b) Ensure professional installation
(c) Perform periodic visual inspections
(d) Report all issues promptly
(e) Operate the Product in accordance with manual guidelines

10. Commitment to Quality

Isopino Energy Technology is committed to manufacturing reliable, safe, and high-performing solar energy products. We continuously improve our designs to ensure long service life and customer satisfaction.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes shall be resolved within Namibian jurisdiction.
